STEPFATHER HELD FOR RAPE OF MINOR


Police arrested a man on Saturday in charge of raping his minor daughter for six months.

Umesh Verma, 41, a resident of Gauri Nagar, was arrested on the complaint from his 16 – year-old daughter, who had filed a complaint of rape to the police station at Heera Nagar.

The wife of the accused is a labourer. Taking advantage of her absence during the day, the accused have raped the minor daughter for the last six months by threatening serious consequences. On Friday, the victim suffered pain and her mother took her to a doctor for treatment. The mother was shocked beyond belief when the doctor informed her that her daughter was six months pregnant. She took her daughter in confidence and asked about the matter. Her shock deepened when the victim told her the story of last six months.


Furious at the bestiality of man’s first wife gave him a good thrashing and then reached the area of police with his daughter to bring charges against the accused.

The victim had lost his father around 5-6 years. To earn a living, his mother married the defendant. “Maybe it was my mistake to marry a demon who did not spare the daughter of his desire,” said the policewoman at the station. Shortly after neighbors and local residents learned about the heinous act, also gathered outside his house to teach him a lesson.

FORMER EXCISE OFFICER IS AWARDED IMPRISONMENT OF 5 YEARS


Lokayukta Special Court has sent a former officer of excise Dewas to five years imprisonment for acquiring property disproportionate to his known sources of income. The court also fined Rs 70 lakh on the officer.
The Lokayukta special police establishment (SPE) raided the residential premises and official Ramji Singh, the officer then the district excise Dewa in February 2011 the following information that he had assets disproportionate to his sources Income known.
During the investigation it was found that the funds had more than his known sources of income. All in all the details of the property value of 65.35 lakh was recovered from his possession. It ‘was recognized in the fight against corruption law points.
